Kaupapa
The theme will be 'Kia Kaha te Reo Māori’.  ‘Kia Kaha’ meaning ‘be strong’. We often talk about languages as if they are people – talking about language health, strength and revitalisation.

So when we say ‘Kia Kaha te Reo Māori’ we’re saying  - ‘Let’s make the Māori language strong'.
Te Reo Maori - Maori Language -  is  a Taonga No Te Mutu - a national treasure

A great place to start is by saying "Kia Ora". Watch the video at right to see how cool this greeting is, and let's all make an effort to greet each other with a warm Kia Ora.
It's our own, unique, Kiwi Way.

This site has a list of 100 words in Maori we all should know... https://goo.gl/iwMMHR
